Cheese and Fruity Sangria

You may not think of pairing sangria with cheese but shockingly enough it actually enhances the flavor profile of Mlekbus Original. Just think of your basic cheese board, you usually will have a few fresh fruit options accompanied by a nice glass of red wine. It makes complete sense to combine the two for a new improved refreshing way to enjoy cheese.

Serves 6


1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup water

1 bottle dry red wine

1/2 cup brandy

1 cup pomegranate juice

1 whole apple, sliced thin

1 whole orange, sliced thin

1 cup strawberries, sliced thin


1) Add sugar and water in small saucepan. Over medium heat bring mixture to a boil until sugar is fully dissolved. Set aside to cool.

2) In a large pitcher, add red wine, brandy, pomegranate juice, apples, oranges, and strawberries

3) Add in your cooled simple syrup and stir. For best results, let sangria refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
