We took our best cheeses to the test kitchen in order to unlock the best cheese crisp recipes for your next party or craving! Here is what we learned:
1- For the best cheese crisp, use a hard or semi-hard cheese such as Parrano®
2- EXPERIMENT…everyone’s taste buds crave something different!
3- Don’t let the cheese get too brown, you will lose the flavor
With those 3 rules in mind, you’ll be making the best cheese crisps in town! Scroll down to see our favorite combos from the test kitchen. ENJOY!
1- Parrano® topped with rosemary and hint of fresh lemon juice
2- Vintage Grand Ewe topped with roasted garlic and cracked pepper
3- Melkbus®125 Winter topped with a pinch of cinnamon
4- Hollandse Chevre topped with roasted walnut bits
1 cup finely shredded cheese (hard or semi-hard) *1 cup will yield approximately 8 crisps
1 tsp topping of choice
1- Heat oven to 425°F. Cover large baking sheet with parchment paper. Place 1/8 cup of cheese on parchment and spread out just a bit. Top with a pinch of your topping. Repeat until all cheese is used.
2- Bake crisps until they reach a light golden color, 5-6 minutes.
3- Cool completely and serve. Store in airtight container for up to 2 days.
